In this class we will go over and discuss the history, origin, and rise in popularity of everyones favorite spirit, the basic differences between your favorite bourbon, scotch, rye, and every other category as well as what geographically affects whiskeys, their ingredients, distillation processes, and regional regulations.
More importantly, these lessons will come with a whisky tasting in addition to you making your own whiskey drink as we discuss classic cocktails that have a big brown liquor influence and also some classic cocktails that you can make at home to impress your cocktail - loving friends.BUY TICKETS

Learn how to make pillowy authentic Italian gnocchi with Chef Tyler in this interactive hands on cooking class. You will learn the trade secrets to making beautiful hand-formed gnocchi and the simple skill that will impress on how to make ricotta.

PRIVATE COOKING CLASSES

Private and group cooking classes are available with 50 Local Chef David Ross & Chef de Cuisine, Tyler Laroche. Classes can be customized and catered to your interests and dietary needs or restrictions. Special courses can include: foraging for your own food and learning to create a meal with the ingredients, vegetarian or vegan dishes, pastry and desserts, Asian street food, local Maine favorites and more.

 

PRIVATE COCKTAIL CLASSES

Private & group cocktail classes are also available with our master bartender, Mat Garofalo.   Mat can teach you to impress your friends at home by showing you how to perfect the classics.  We can also customize the class around your interests.
